Chrissy Teigen Asks Joe Biden to Unfollow Her Twitter

When President Joe Biden took office on January 20, his @ POTUS Twitter account was followed by just one celebrity: Chrissy Teigen. The episode was deserved after the tumultuous relationship between Chrissy and the last man to live in the White House. But after a little over a month, Chrissy kindly asked Joe to end it and remove her from his Twitter crew.

“I’ve tweeted a couple of times since my cherished @POTUS followed,” she said on February 23. “In order for me to thrive as I, I have to ask you, please Lord, don’t follow me. I love you !!! not you, it’s me !!!!”

The president didn’t respond (I mean he’s quite a busy guy) but silently unfollowed Chrissy and reduced his following list to 12 Cravings The cookbook author celebrated with an obscenity tweeted with “I’m FREE !!!!!!!!!!!!” ended. We applaud Chrissy’s return to Twitter and hope that even without a presidential continuation, we’ll get some fun interactions between her and Joe in the future too.

I’ve tweeted a couple of times since appreciating @POTUS. In order for me to thrive as I, I must ask you, Lord, please do not follow me. I love you!!! It’s not you, it’s me !!!!
